Cheryl Ann Cassesa passed away on May 14, 2017 in Margate, Florida. Cheryl was born in Peterborough, Ontario Canada on August 15, 1949. Her parents, John and Georgetta Ondi were visiting Canada when Cheryl was born prematurely. She lived in Cleveland, Ohio until her parents moved to Wickliffe, Ohio when she was a young girl. She attended Wickliffe High where she met her future husband, Edward Cassesa, at a high school football game in October 1965. The couple dated until they were married on August 30, 1969. Cheryl Ann Cassesa passed away on May 14, 2017 in Margate, Florida. Cheryl was born in Peterborough, Ontario Canada on August 15, 1949. Her parents, John and Georgetta Ondi were visiting Canada when Cheryl was born prematurely. She lived in Cleveland, Ohio until her parents moved to Wickliffe, Ohio when she was a young girl. She attended Wickliffe High where she met her future husband, Edward Cassesa, at a high school football game in October 1965. The couple dated until they were married on August 30, 1969. Cheryl and Edward loved each other every single day ever since. They lived in Cleveland, Ohio until they moved to Margate, Florida on February 14, 1977.

Cheryl and Edward have two daughters, Jennifer Milton (husband Steven Milton) and Kimberly Cassesa, and seven grandchildren, Kimberly Cassesa, Christopher Chandler, Siriyah Cassesa, Keana Webb, Marcus Cassesa, Charlene Cassesa and Ramone Haffenden. Cheryl and Edward also have four great grandchildren Jahiem, Jakoby, Jamari and Kameron. Cheryl is survived by her two sisters, Debi Weaver (John) daughter Sarah, Zachary (deceased) grandsons Gabriel and Wesley, and Karen Dhondt, son Nicholas and daughter Jessica.

Cheryl worked for Comcast until 2009 when she retired. She is greatly missed by her large family and many friends.

Viewing for family and friends will be at Kraeer Funeral Home in Margate on Thursday May 18th, 2017 from 2-4 and from 7-9. A Mass will be held at St. Vincent's Church in Margate at 10:00 Friday May 19th, 2017. Cheryl will rest in peace at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale, Florida.
